The Hermitage Barrière is a grand white Anglo-Norman manor with a half-timbered façade. The hotel sits facing the sea and is set in attractive gardens, one kilometer from the center of La Baule town. The 207 air-conditioned guestrooms, all with small balconies and some with sea views, are decorated in attractive Regency-style striped fabrics.
