The Savoy is the only hotel on Ocean Drive that is located right on the sand, with private beach access. Situated on a lush, two-acre paradise, which spans from the street to the beach, the Savoy is without a peer in this neighborhood. If the immediate beach access is not enough for some guests, the hotel has two outdoor swimming pools (one deep - one shallow), situated in a lush, courtyard area full of palm trees and tropical foliage. Guests are serviced by a poolside bar, and there is also a gym located beside the pool area for the more health conscious guests. Two sundecks with chaise lounges overlook the ocean, as well.
The Savoy is actually composed of two classic, art-deco hotels from the thirties. The accommodations are all suites, which start at 575 square feet, so living space is never an issue at this hotel. The suites are all well appointed and feature either a contemporary or a traditional Florida décor. These suites are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, dinette and most of the creature comforts you would expect from an exceptional suite. Nightly turndown is available on request. When it comes time for dining or nightlife, guests merely need to step outside the Savoy’s doors, and up the block to the Ocean Drive promenade.
