The Fosshotel Husavik is a tourist-class hotel situated in the heart of the pretty fishing village of Husavik and it is the only hotel in the town. Husavik itself is a place not to be missed, as it is the whale watching capital of Iceland during the summer months of May through August. Husavik is famous for its warm and healthy geothermal water. Scheduled buses run from downtown Husavik to all nearby sights and to Akureyri Town.
