The Protea Hotel Kruger Gate is an African tree-house style hotel located 100 meters from the entrance to the Kruger National Park, on the banks of the Sabi River. The entrance is a towering indigenous portico with a wooden walkway up to the reception area. The 96 guestrooms feature African influenced light décor with wood furnishings and tiled floors. All feature dial-up Internet connections, air conditioning, minibars, televisions with satellite channels, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, in-room safes, telephones and views of the bush.
At the Kudyela Restaurant guests can enjoy a wide range of international dishes from the breakfast buffet andŕ la carte lunch menu. The open air Lapa Restaurant serves a buffet dinner of African dishes under the stars, on the banks of the Sabi River.
