At the foot of the highest peaks of the Pyrenees, Hotel Club L’Ourson is a chalet-style residence situated nine kilometers from both the thermal spa of Luchon and the ski resort of Superbagn?res. The residence has 35 guestrooms, which offer a private phone lines, bed linen and towels and either half board or full board accommodation, while the studio apartments are equipped with kitchenettes (linens and towels provided for a fee). All rooms have views of the mountains.
Guests can enjoy a variety of regional dishes in the residence’s restaurant overlooking the valley. Two themed evenings are organized every week and in the summer, the restaurant hosts outdoor meals in the park with barbecues, Mechoui (spit roast lamb), Sardinade (grilled sardines) and other local specialties. There is a covered and heated swimming pool and nine-hole mini-golf course onsite, as well as a solarium and laundry facilities. The Luchon country, with its central position in the Pyrenees, is the ideal place to practice a variety of sports. Thrill-seekers can enjoy parasailing, rafting, canoeing or climbing. Others may prefer to get involved in the games and sporting tournaments organized at the residence, including mini-golf and table tennis. The children’s club (4-12 years) offers artistic and sporting activities to keep kids busy, and in the evenings, entertainment ranges from slide shows and bingo nights to karaoke and fancy dress parties. The hotel is 150 kilometers from Toulouse Airport and nine kilometers from Luchon railway station, where a free shuttle service to the hotel is provided.
